The food is where this place shines. Everything we got, from the bruschetta to bolgonese were stellar. There really aren't words. If you're visiting Ogunquit area and like Italian make this a must visit place. You will not regret it.
We drove down to Ogunquit for a little family day and allowed our daughter to pick out the restaurant. She chose Caffe Prego for the pizza, and let me tell you, we were not upset! I'm gluten free, our daughter is vegetarian. The wood fired pizza was delicious! Our brussel sprout appetizer was also incredible. The best part about the entire experience was the homemade gelato for dessert! Yumm!
Our family’s first night in Ogunquit and we chose Cafe Prego for dinner. It did not disappoint. The service was excellent. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. The food was also excellent. The pizza crust was delicious and the salmon special was top notch. Also do not miss out on dessert. The gelato selection was vast and yummy. Would definitely eat here again and recommend to anyone visiting the area.
We had an excellent meal — best Caesar salad, delicious Italian wedding soup and a scrumptious mushroom pizza with our favorite reds (Chianti and montepulciano) ...forgive my spelling. But the best was saved for last — maple cappuccino with a pistachio gelato Whoopie pie. Our server was wonderful — she’s an international — who speaks multiple languages and took great care of us. A wonderful experience and we’ll be back as we frequently visit this great seaside town!
This staff is super friendly and the location is awesome! We got seated outside, which I didn't like as much but there wasn't any empty spots indoors so it's okay. The food was sooo good! We got the Margherita & Bianca pizza and the shrimp pasta. I really recommend the Bianca pizza! It tastes exactly like the one I got in Italy :). And the shrimp pasta has a different flavor than what I had before, very unique but very good with lemon flavor. Highly recommend!! (Pictured are margherita and pasta)
For the past few years on the 4th of July, we've stopped by just before closing for drinks. Always a great way to end the day while the kids get ice cream across the street. Always good seeing Zack. Nice selection of beer wine and grappa.
We got right in and had great service. Our waitress Angela was amazing, very hospitable! The food was great and it has a nice atmosphere. The meatball sandwich was yummy and my boyfriend loved his pizza. I definitely recommend it!
